Hi Developers,

I have attached the internal pictures of DIR-825

For the wireless, it is running

AR9223
AR9220

I have also sent a unit in according the the guidelines at http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv3/dd-wrt/donate.html using the commercial invoice template.

Lets hope it can be ported. Cheers.

Hi DD-WRT developers,

I just bought new DIR-825. Is dd-wrt firmware ready for this DIR-825?

Many Thanks

Yes, I am interested as well.

Thank you very much for donating a device. As can be seen on the Pictures the CPU is an AR7161 as already was rumored on the internet. The RAM chip shown has 32MB which is quite okay. If DD-WRT was to be ported onto this device it would be hell of an router...

I am also very interested! I've had a DIR-825 B1 for a while. No doubt very solid in hardware, but lacks massivly in firmware (can't even connect some simple devices wirelessly) which are some widely known issues across many forums.

A kind person donated that router. I hope we'll see something soon!

I'd be very interested. I've had a 825 for a while now. Seems good and solid but have read a lot others having issues. Switched from 825A to 825B. Would love to see dd-wrt available for this unit to see what it can really do. I'm confident there are a lot of people who would want this. Imagine what you could do.

Brainslayer are you there?

How is the porting going? Do you require another DIR-825?

If you do, we can see any of the brothers here can spare 1 more unit to send over.

thnx

I now run OpenWRT on my DIR-825. So I'm fine for now.
