I recently upgraded to the most recent version and now I have DD-WRT installed on both partitions. I want to have one partition that just has stock linksys firmware on it; how do I do this? Do I just install the linksys firmware from within DD-WRT? If I do this, will it overwrite the partition I'm currently on or will it do it on the one not in use?

Thanks.

I figured it out by reading that sticky again Very Happy

Flashed stock over the top and installed fine (still unsure which partition it flashed to though)

Does the method of turning off and on 3 times switch partitions even from the stock Linksys firmware? I clicked on restore from within Linksys and got back to DD-WRT on the same partition I was originally on.

New question now.

I'm back again on stock Linksys but want to install DD-WRT version 34311 again (having issues with VOIP when gaming on the latest versions) but I ended up overwriting that version by upgrading DD-WRT twice so I had version 39956 and 40009 installed.

Can I use the factory to DD-WRT file on stock linksys and restore the backup I made of version 34311 to get all my settings back?

Answered all of my own questions just by trying it (back on 34311) apart from this one below.

Does the method of turning off and on 3 times switch partitions even from the stock Linksys firmware?

Yes, the power cycle 3 times method is independent of the firmware loaded.
