Output from nvram command attached. I take that port 4 is the WAN port, and it needs to be associated with vlan 1 like ports 0-3? If so, can this be done via the GUI?
I can certainly try the K3X build as well, just was a bit hesitant to do so, based on the risks mentioned above.
Thanks @the-joker for the note. My version shows as "DD-WRT v3.0-r48296 mega (02/05/22)" which I flashed earlier this year in hopes to address the issue where the SSID stops broadcasting intermittently. Before that, I had a ~2018 version.
Since the DD-WRT upgrade process often requires a bit of time/research, I typically take the "dont fix it if its not broken" approach for my dd-wrt boxes. I just posted the above for reference so I can find it in the future if needed. (and may help others)

Thanks for verifying that assigning vlan2 to br0 (and apparently nothing else) works in place of the previous fullswitch function on Broadcom, at least. I have about a dozen of these routers (as well as a number of other Linksys E-Series Broadcom MIPS devices) in the inventory now. Three of the E4200s have been playing guinea pig for some things I (we) have been working on over the past few years. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
