EA8500
4 days 17 hrs 29 minutes and it went to shit
Too bad I don't have any logs and didn't check any. I have done nothing at all to router in couple days.
Got a call saying WE DON'T have INTERNET

NO internet at all...tried WAN release and renewal and that no good.
NO it aint my ISP --- cause I could connect my phone to neighbors router and all good.
I put in my spare main router and it worked like a charm ---- note my ISP holds staic IP for me but its still thru
DHCP so spare router has same WAN MAC as the EA8500 so it gets same WAN IP I always have.

sompin went wonkers with r39956 is all I know .... strange it took this long. Most likely would have been
fine with a simple reboot but that ain't right and I can't be doing that crap right now anyways.
I was happy with it till now Evil or Very Mad

Sorry I don't have all the image details.
Router Model: D-Link DIR-615-I1
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r39956 std (06/06/19)
Kernel Version: Linux 3. CET 2019 mips
CPU Model: Atheros AR9341 ver 1 rev 1.1 (0x0121)
CPU Cores:
CPU Features: MIPS32r1 MIPS32r2 MIPS16
CPU Clock: 535 MHz

Memory

Space Usage
NVRAM: 18 KB / 64 KB

Errors: Flashing with DD-WRT firmware r38253 upgrade GUI page failed. Surprisingly the CLI upgrade method using Telnet and wget command worked. I think even this method can fail but if you erase the downloaded firmware file just before you reboot, it seems to increase free ROM space and a successful reboot.
I didn't stay long on this firmware, moved to a newer firmware. I'm still learning DD-WRT & how to set it up the way I want to use the router.
Wifi LED stays solid and doesn't blink during activity.
DD-WRT firmware upgrade webpage seems to fail during flashing most of the time.

Status: No crashes but didn't stay long before upgrading to a later firmware.

Reset: Was not necessary.

Previous: DD-WRT r38253 firmware.
