Hey everyone,
Is there any way to set the LAN interfaces to a down state (shutdown)? Looking to shutdown 3 of my 4 LAN ports so no one can just plug into one of them. I've search all over but have been able to find anything that works. Any help/info would be greatly appreciated. TIA _________________ Router: R7800

Awesome!! Thank you so much for this Now I do remember reading something a while ago about how the port numbers are flipped compared to how they are listed in CLI. Is that correct? _________________ Router: R7800

Yes, port 4 is closest to the WAN.
Sorry for the late response. Thanks again for the info. Wasnt really sure what those commands did but was able to look them up and found exactly what I needed. Thanks again for your help and the info you have provided, it is much appreciated _________________ Router: R7800

So I tried this and had no effect. Ports were still up and was able to get an IP and connect to the internet. Not sure what I did wrong. I essentially want LAN ports 2-4 to be dead to where if someone connects to them using an ethernet cable, they get no IP address. Is there something I'm doing wrong? _________________ Router: R7800
