Good day.
I have a little issue. I wish to set up a wifi network at home and I have two devices.
1) Wireless modem from my ISP
2) DD Wrt Router configured on TL Wr1043nd v 2.1

I wish to disable DHCP on the Wireless modem and some how connect the DD Wrt Router to the Wireless modem without cables. While the DD Wrt Router will be the DHCP Wifi Server for my home network. I observed I do not have the repeater mode available as well.
How can I achieve a wireless setup?

IIRC, on Atheros wireless chipsets, Client Bridge (Routed) is essentially a repeater, but don't recall if it's a repeater (routed) or repeater bridge.

One idiosyncrasy w/ these same wireless chipsets is that you can't access the AP side of the repeater until the client side is connected. Many ppl complain because this creates a classic catch-22. They want to use the AP of the router to configure the client side of the connection w/ public wifi, but can't until they configure the client side of the connection w/ public wifi! So they end up having to carry around a wired solution (e.g., a laptop) to deal w/ the problem.

Perhaps not a problem for you, but just wanted to make it clear that these Atheros wireless chipsets tend to be a little weird compared to most others.
