TPLINK WR940N v5 EU revert to stock

Hi, my WR940N v5 EU is currently flashed with DDWRT v3.0-r37305

downloaded stock firmware from here
https://www.tp-link.com/uk/support/download/tl-wr940n/v5/#Firmware

reset ddwrt, upgrade firmware with the stock firmware, but when it's finished, it stays on ddwrt.

any idea how can I revert back?

I guess using the tftp recovery method just hasn't quite caught on. Unofficial support files and webrevert files have not been done in several years.
