Just flashed the latest 05/12 build on both R7800s:
Its very great to hear.
I cant load the Kong Pro build now but what is the maximum real throughput on AC 80mhz from local source?
I have 640mbs on Voxel. _________________ Netgear R7800

With 866 connection rate? I just did a test with 866 connection rate and I get 510Mbps.
Thank you Kong.
How do you like and estimate OpenWRT performance and latency compare to DDWRT (3.18 and 4.9) builds? _________________ Netgear R7800
Just upgraded from voxel stock fork.
Set as AP.
Will monitor for stability and performance. _________________ Router currently owned:

For me is the Wifi-Performance poor.
I get with the Open-WRT Build with vht80 2x2 MIMO with my Intel 8265 only stable 300mbit (RX) 400mbit (TX)

..and the wlan does not start anymore if you change anything via the webinterface (restart interface etc.)
Same channel/txpower according to iw <interface> status?
Otherwise it would be unfair, also make on the intel cards to test with -P 4 or more streams when running iperf. _________________ KONG PB's: http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/

I just did some maths, if you get 640mpbs, then we are talking about at least a 3x3 device and in that case your 640mbps are rather poor. A 2x2 device can theoretically do 610Mbps real throughput. _________________ KONG PB's: http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/

My be i am wrong but i have constantly 80Mbyte/sec on oem/voxel with 2x2 intel 9650 and much lower on ddwrt ( around 60). _________________ Netgear R7800

Testet with several parallel streams ( 2-8 ) and same channels.
But the transmit-power has in OpenWrt other limits.
26 vs 30dB (dd-wrt / UNII-2 Extended 5470 - 5725Mhz) with regulatory domain germany (option country 'DE')
I usually get < 300mbit throughput on the devices with a single antenna.
P.S. I used to run dsl and 100Mbit through one network cable, now I added another 2 wire cable so I can fully use my network cable for gigabit, now my downlod rate improved by about 10%. Man adding this cable was some shit, needed several attempts to pull it through a 20m long pipe that is embedded in my concrete ceiling. But was worth the effort. _________________ KONG PB's: http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/

How much do you get in 160Mhz mode?
For 80Mhz not sure whose fault it is, if win miscalculates or if iperf does something stupid. I also just did a transfer to my nas from win 10 with a Intel AC 9560 and the windows dialog displays: _________________ KONG PB's: http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/
