|
I've been troubleshooting an issue with my Wi-FI on my NETGEAR R7000
I have it running dd-wrt, was Kong build until a couple of days ago when I changed to v3.0-r37305. Issue was present on both. I have it setup with a Wi-Fi network as WAN. The 5Ghz is currently in repeater mode connecting to the external wi-fi, 2.4Ghz is in AP mode. Also have another SSID on the 5Ghz to connect to it.
The issue is every minute I see a spike in ping traffic to the R7000, if I am doing real-time A/V I see packet loss and jitter and then it goes back to normal. On the monitoring of the router I see both 2.4 and 5g channels bottom out momentarily and then resume.
Cable connection to the router doesn't show signs of the packetloss/dropouts, only on the wifi client.
Any tips on log files or anything I can use to monitor what's going on.
