The device updated itself when I installed it last week. Other than that, there is no indication of what firmware it's running or what firmware is available.
Currently, it is not even working on channel 11 in mixed mode, though it did do that earlier.
I've now enabled multicast to unicast on ath0.1. I've power-reset the device; it's in its DHCP-request-reply loop now for several minutes.
I appreciate all the time you've taken to offer suggestions to help me out.
