The vpn works until the script applies, then all the vpn stops and only local dsl. What am having to do is go to vpn settings and disable openvpn client for normal dsl, well was now its killed all the vpn right now, which I dont under stand, when i take out the startup script and reboot the vpn comes back on.
Yeah was trouble shooting with ipvanish tech and had me remove those additional configurations when testing, I can put them back in and see if that makes a difference, I just cant understand that the vpn wont bypass , it just kills with the script.
I have noticed that since flashed router to dd wrt from the netgear firmware that it will not reserve ip address for selected devices. I have tried before adding all the mac address to list with static Ips thst wanted and when saved it nothing on the network would communicate with each other, I ended up having to set static ips on devices as a work around instead, dont know if this helps or bot.
I'm more than willing to try it, I'll have to back up all my settings before I do, but if do what version of dd would you recommend dd wrt 3.0 r? Or does it matter the tech was using 33555 and said was working when he tested so flashed to it to try

When you are going to setup from scratch maybe consider my earlier posting:

ok got router set back up and vpn only running, vpn works. istalled script with in startup, and now have a diff result, computers in the selected ip rang will not connect to the internet, can ping aol, yahoo and google, and will respond on the computer with static ip address set to 10.0.0.201, when try to run internet explorer or hulu app says connection issue might not be online. im going to post screen shots of everything to see if can get it figured out by the static ip issue seems to be gone, if can get it connecting to internet then i can run a what is my ip address on the computer and see if local or vpn. any ideas

It does ping, but when you use the internet explorer just sets there and loads as does the hulu app, but does ping all external and internal ip and sites. The vpn works on all devices outside the rang of 200-210. For some reason the devices are failing to load content from the web in selected IP ranges 10.0.0.201

Think noticed the problem not sure the fix, the browsers are coming up with secure connections failed, example firefox says performing a TLC handshake with site and never makes it, internet explorer says tlc security
Ok so I tryrd the 8.8.8.8. And 8.8.4.4 and it did not make a diff, I also performed a reboot no effect. I removed the start up script and tested the vpn comes up and internet on the computers with static ips 200-210, put script back and back to same security issue? Because the sites ping like should but the trace fails so there must be a security setting that am looking for either on the router or the computer, not sure. I think if get this solved it might work
