R7000 which firmware after Kong build?

I have read that the Kong version of dd-wrt is no longer supported.
Wanted to know which stable version works correctly with Netgear R7000 and if there are hopes that Kong will be updated Question
Has Kong switched to OpenWrt but will also take care of a simpler interface and the R7000 will also be supported Question
How is the situation Question

Nobody has heard from Kong in a few days now, so no idea about his current or future plans with OpenWRT.

Kong Pro only supports a few Qualcomm IPQ806X devices. The Linksys EA8500, Netgears R7500 (v1/v2) and the Netgear R7800.

The R7000 is a Broadcom device, and you'd be better off asking this question in the Broadcom section here:
