Instead of factory-to-ddwrt I have used the other one. The wrong one since it's my first time to go from default to open firmware. (ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/11-16-2017-r33772/linksys-wrt1900acs/)
I tried the Power Cycle the router three times method describe here. https://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117
Nothing happened. My router won't roll back to Linksys firmware. Tried doing it while my laptop is connected to router via LAN cable. (not sure if that detail matters)
I want to try SSH but I do not understand it. My networking skill and knowledge is 2/10. I have PuTTY but I can't seem to grasp the instruction here https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Telnet/SSH
My router is Linksys WRT1900ACS version 1. By the way, before I tried above methods of reverting to default firmware, I panicked. I hold the reset button for about 20 secs (not sure if that detail matters).

Can anyone explain the timing in more detail? How long do you leave it turned off for? Or do you immediately switch it back on? Are you timing it based on the lights? I tried timing it for exactly 2 seconds of power on several times, trying to vary it up. Also tried the same thing with varying amounts of off time. Cant figure it out. If my other partition is good, is this guaranteed to work if I get the timing right?
I have tried dozens of times with no luck. Don’t have Linksys Venom factory firmware on other partition. Current bricked partition is the full dd-wrt flash, and the good partition is the first dd-wrt firmware i flashed from the stock Linksys Venom firmware.
