|
Hi,
I have several retired dd-wrt router with usb port, now only collecting dust.
Is it possible to connect a usb web cam onto it, install some Entware, client bridged to the main AP, and make it effectively work as IP Cam? I guess I need two usb ports or a usb hub, enable jffs, enable usb and usb video support.
Any one could give me some intructions or point me to the right direction?
I read openwrt has some information in its wiki
https://oldwiki.archive.openwrt.org/doc/howto/usb.video
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/hardware/video/webcam
But since I'm more familiar with ddwrt and my routers already have ddwrt on it, I can try ddwrt first.
Thank you. _________________ [Broadcom]
