Multi WIFI cards connect to the same AP at same time?

Would multi WIFI cards connect to the same AP at same time?
Both can do 2.4G and 5G, one is built in, one is USB card.

So would connect both to the same 2.4G/5G or one via 2.4G one via 5G, to get too IP addresses, help anything on network in real useage? Or it would better just stick to the faster card and turn off the slower one?
