Router/Version: Asus RT-N66U
File: DD-WRT v3.0-r39144M big (03/11/19)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.108-d8 #23366 Mon Mar 11 13:50:20 CET 2019 mips
Mode: AP
Status: USB tethering connection fails
When I perform a speed test at speedtest.net or dslreports.com, my internet connection stops on the upload part of the test and does not come back until the router is rebooted. Works fine when the router uses an ethernet WAN. Build r39081 (3/5/19) was the last build where USB tethering internet didn't break after a speed test.

I could write a not-so-short rant about my thoughts on USB tethering and DD-WRT....

Very true .... it is the gui that does not allow overclocking it can be done through nvram
Watch out! It might bite you. If developers were confident about this overclocking trick, it should have worked through the GUI like others.
Just remember that *MOST* users don't need overclocking, but all services and functions running normally.
