DD-WRT 3.0-r38381 std (01/24/19)
Is this normal (Image)? It looks like the odd IP (71.64.96.1) address belongs to the ISP gateway somewhere just outside the wan interface, but is there something wrong that allows it to register on my LAN tab? My research shows that it's just an odd old bug and that there are zero connections so not to worry, but those posts were all from several years ago. Still nothing to worry about?
That would be the device/IP your WAN is connected to..... nothing to worry with.
Just a new feature dd-wrt added several months back.
See on the EA8500 VLAN2 is the WAN
But the mac of the odd client doesn't match the cable modem lan/wan mac addresses (or LAN/WAN interfaces), and the IP address is (though similar, so odd IP could be of first ISP gateway?) but not the assigned IP address of the wan interface.
The IP is IP of the device your 'Wide Area Network' is connected to.... 'Charter Communications'
