included tickets are only those affecting r7800 and kong build only.
a good report now? no...
wifi latency still bad but perhaps a a SINGLE STEP, above previous..its borderline error margin, throughput maybe slightly higher.. BUT.. its strange how its mostly when using wan over the wifi (320mbps), will cause LOCAL latency to the router to jitter and spike everywhere.. yet when doing a lan transfer, going over 170mbps faster on the same link, the local latency to the router is much more stable and better..
wds stations are still not regaining their tx chains when pushing throughput, and as a result, are quite slow.. smps dynamic would hopefully fix that but setting it makes radios not broadcast for whatever reason. smps static should be optional not forced enabled doesnt work well with wds stations. dont know if thats the fault of the sta or ap.

Router Model: R7800
Status: My older HP D110 wireless printer is unable to acknowledge DHCP offers and will ultimately fail over to APIPA address. Reverting back to 10/28/18 allowed it to connect, but there are too many other issues on that build for my current usage.
Reset: YES
Errors: This repeats over and over in syslog without an ACK...

Upgraded my R7800 to 38750 from 38700 via web GUI, no reset.
After upload and reboot, firmware was applied but all radios were disabled. Had to reboot the router to get them to come back. Not sure what happened, I've never had that before and I've probably done a couple dozen in-place uploads.
No sooner had I posted that but I lost internet connectivity. The router was up but none of my hosts could connect.
I ended up re-flashing 38750. We'll see how it goes. _________________ Routing:.......Asus RT-AX88U (Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14) Switching:....Netgear GS608_V3 & GS605_V4, TrendNet TEG-S82G & TEG-S50G

I noticed that too. No idea, why. But I'll see if I can compile a build with rolled back compat wireless, BS added so much bullshit to that, that no one needs and I want to make sure it's not coming from those changes. _________________ KONG PB's: http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/

Looking at the SVN....how do we know these changes are being made? Or is it only the Dev's that can see that level of change? _________________ FORUM RULES
