Problems and workarounds:
1) When VAP is not working at boot; workaround startup command:
sleep 10; stopservice nas; stopservice wlconf; startservice wlconf; startservice nas;
2) Aternative way to get VAP working: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=317181

This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 29440_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build. _________________ Routers:Netgear R7000, R6400v1, R6400v2, EA6900 (XvortexCFE), E2000, E1200v1, WRT54GS v1.

GUI is really "laggy"
On the retrackted build 38570 it was lightning fast but crashed, now it does not crash but is laggy.
We need something in between
I find this odd. BS 38570 webUI is good. Have had no crashes. Wi-fi stability, however... not so much.
Neither(of the last two releases) gave me troubles with the GUI(crashing or hanging).You guys need to apply some exceptions in your Antivirus/AdBlockers as they could be the culprit.
Now i've notice another problem,when using PuTTY or WinSCP for longer then 30 min. they loose connection.Putty doesn't even notify,just start hanging with no response.I did set the "TCP Timeout" to 1800 and wonder if this is the problem.
Maybe some iptables rule could help i wonder. _________________ Router: ASUS AC1900(RT-AC68U)

Issues/Errors: Yes/ High Ping Value(EX. 300 - 700 ping)
I notice a huge problem. After configuring a VPN through Openvpn settings: The router would then have an insane amount of ping issues. Even if I would to disable openvpn afterwards, the ping still seem to be affected. The only way I manage to fix the problem was to flash the firmware again. However, even then if I were to configure openvpn again then the issue would still continue to reappear.
