Hi,
I'm new to DD-WRT, and I'm not exactly tech-savvy.
I have a DD-WRT flashed D-Link DIR-825 modem/router (let's call it VPN router). I use Privateinternetaccess as my VPN provider. I want to put my Popcorn Hour A500, a hard drive media player, behind the VPN router. So the intended set up is: Popcorn Hour->VPN router->standard modem->ISP.
When I configured the VPN router on my PC, via PC->VPN router->standard modem->ISP, I received "connected success" status and i could access internet from my PC fine.
When I placed the VPN router between Popcorn Hour and my standard modem, lights on VPN router all light up blue, meaning all is working fine. However, the Popcorn Hour was not able to connect to the internet or home network.
The Popcorn Hour network settings are:
DHCP: auto
IP: 192.168.0.24
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1 (note: this is the IP of my standard modem connected to ISP)
DNS: Auto
Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
Please see my VPN router's DD-WRT set up in the images below (I can only attach 3).
There must be some simple answer to this. I just can't figure it out myself. I greatly appreciate if anyone can point me to the right direction.
Thanks a million, JXM. It worked!!! Much appreciated!
Here come a new question:
When my Popcorn Hour's IP address was 192.168.0.24, I could see its internal hard drive from my PC and transfer files through my home network.
Now my Popcorn Hour has a new set of IP:
DHCP: Auto
IP: 192.168.1.113
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway:192.168.1.1
DNS: Auto
Primary DNS:192.168.1.1
Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0
How do I access the hard drive on my Popcorn Hour from my home network?

you basically want to connect two subnets from two routers.
there is always communication from downstream (the VPN router in your case) to upstream so from your popcorn device you can reach your PC on the standard router but not the other way around.
I hope that makes sense i have difficulty typing with 1 finger (had little accident)
If I have to go manually, I might as well unplug the Popcorn Hour from the VPN router and plug it directly with the standard modem and reset IP to the standard modem when I need to transfer files between my PC and Popcorn Hour.
