If you read and did all of those recovery links that I posted earlier and they did not work, the next step is to buy something like this: https://www.adafruit.com/product/954
Serial would be next, hook that up to the router and figure out why it is rebooting.
TFTP is very easy on these routers though, so the links I posted above should work if they are done correctly. Get back to Netgear firmware first. Then try DD-WRT again. _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.

Some dd-wrt wiki pages are up to date, others are not. PM me if you find an old one.

I am able to go back to the Netgear Firmware without any Problems by using tftp2.
But if i try to update to " your " Version of ddwrt by the Netgear GUI or tftp2, i end in the endless reboot again.
I am not able to boot with ddwrt 3.x beta at all...
I don't know if the v1 is the same but for the v4 you can only get to DD-WRT from factory by using the minimum usable version on the supported devices page.
For the v1 it says to use 14158 from 3-29-2010.
Unfortunately that build does not seem to exist but the next newer one is 14280 04-15-2010 and the first build I see for the wndr3700.
Also I have just recovered a V1 to OEM using TFTP after a customer soft bricked using OEM V2 firmware. I used the hints and tips from this website, so thank you!
