Greetings,

Under what circumstances does the init system (re)start the firewall script? Is the ddwrt init system documented somewhere?

Checking /var/log/messages, I see /tmp/.rc_firewall was started at least 5 times. I'm trying to understand if it's something I'm doing in /opt/etc/init.d/* or this is normal.

1. Does the script get executed after a process is restarted?
2. Does the script get executed after process X? Before process Y?
3. Does the script get executed if iptables/iptables-restore are run?
4. Does the script get executed after (stop|start)service is executed?
5. ???
