Looking for a router capable of 700mbps+ on ddwrt
Hi.

I've been using ddwrt for quite some time already. On tplink wr1043nd v1 first and then on v2. For few years I've been load balancing over 3 connections with custom iptables and some minor changes to the firmware.

The problem is that this router is capable of ~220-230mbps NAT throughput (way more on stock firmware, but that's a whole other story), so nowadays I'm using my setup mostly for failover capabilities rather than balancing.

What would be the cheapest option capable of 700mbps+? Wouldn't eg. wr3200ac be an overkill?

Look for a Netgear R7800 or R7500 V2. (IPQ806X)
