Sorry....I did NOT mean anything by using the term redistribute.....which even if frowned apon by some is completely legal

I see you have found just some of those pitfalls I refered to Rolling Eyes

Again, although the good feeling of accomplishing or mostly at least...what you are trying to do. You may wonder if it was worth it in the end

I have to ask....is this build you are trying to repair so perfect in every other way?

Please don't take this the wrong way...just trying to help...at least in regard to your original post

So, as you can see, firmware mod kit is faulty and hasn't been actively maintained.

That's weird. The FMK I got off of googlecode didn't have all that nonsense. But I think I may have had to binwalk pieces and parts the file(s) I was tinkering with at the time. I think there may have been some package dependencies I may have had to meet for everything to play nice, though. It's been several months.

Nice job @Razercortex.
But I Agree with @Dr_K insmodding ext4.ko will probably be a nice bandaid fot the time being.

Perhaps a litlle impertinent but I took out the ext4.ko module and attached it here for further use.

 Description:
ext4.ko module for use with Linux K3.10. Extract, place at /tmp and from CLI: insmod /tmp/ext4.ko .
Note: this will not survive a reboot!
