for 802.11v now works thanks kong. proxy_arp=1 still does not but is fine for now.
Are you saying those two configuration parameters are enabled when you enable 802.11v in the GUI, or do you need to enabled in GUI as well as add those lines to the custom config box? _________________ Netgear R7500v2, DD-WRT v3.0-r37845M kongat

it tis on the EA8500 so I assume he left it in da r7500v2
Something is up with this ct fw my apple devices iphone 8 and mbair internet connection keep hanging, same as the previous 37900 ct test build. Tried pretty much every config the entire afternoon and couldn’t get it working reliably. Very disappointed and frustrating

Back to 37900 non-ct build. r7500v2
I been streaming stuff all day on tablet and some via chromecast --- neary a problem....
I guess just blame it on Apple ...Back in the old days everyone blamed everything on them anyways.... I just got away from Apple Mac stuff few years ago
This is second k4.9 build I try after r37900 on my ea8500 (I come from Kong r36375 - k3.18 which was working perfect for my needs). With both of them I am unable to get Vlan tagging on WAN interface working (to be able to have internet). The commands I need to run at startup are:
Code:
swconfig dev eth0 vlan 2 set vid 10
swconfig dev eth0 vlan 2 set ports '0t 5t'
swconfig dev eth0 vlan 1 set ports '0t 1 2 3 4 5t'
swconfig dev eth0 set apply
vconfig add eth0 10
ifconfig vlan10 up
nvram set dhcp_wan_ifname="vlan10"
nvram commit
stopservice wan
sleep 5
startservice wan
I think the problem is this:
-After running "vconfig add eth0 10" on k3.18 builds, a "vlan10" interface was created.
-Now, "eth0.10" interface is created instead...this shouldn't be a problem if I just set eth0.10 as WAN interface BUT,even though running "nvram set dhcp_wan_ifname="eth0.10"" don't show error, "eth0.10" is not selectable in GUI (Setup->Networking>WAN). Is vlan10 what is show, but this interface in fact doesn't exist at all...
Then, after this behaviour occurs, "swconfig list" don't show "switch0" as an available switch.
