DIR 878 MU-MIMO and 160mhz channel support ?

Hi friends,
It's time to bring a new life to my brand new DIR 878 router.

However, before proceeding to flash DD-WRT on it, I'd like to know whether or not both features MU-MIMO and 160mhz channel support are available.

Additionally, I would fully appreciate if someone could comment about how stable the latest DD-WRT version is on this router.

This is what brainslayer said on November 16th
“the wifi hw on the dir882 doesnt support 160 mhz. if you want 160 mhz use a qca9984 based router like the netgear r7800 or the netgear r9000. these routers do support these features and much more due the much better driver and chipset support”

Thanks Malachi. That sounds interesting.
A few hours ago I followed up on DLink forum about an advertisement put in the box package stating that DIR 878 could support 160 Mhz channel based on further firmware update.

Then DLink forum moderator replied telling me that 160 Mhz channel support is currently under development for DIR 882, so he thinks that hopefully this feature will also be delivered to DIR 878 planned for mid 2019.

That being said, it looks like hardware supports 160 Mhz channel but seems to be locked by firmware.

Encountered router reboots with the last few dd-wrt releases.

Currently back to testing the 10-10-2018-r37305 release.

Sorry for digging up this topic, but I've found firmware update for dir 878 on the russian Dlink support page that allegally has 160 Mhz support.

Sadly, my 878 doesn't accept neither of the russian firmwares on the page. I've tried upgrading via web interface and DLINK emergency flashing, but it rejects it anyway. My current firmware version is 1.30, while russians have 3.5 and up.

Maybe someone can make it work on non-russian 878.
