Hi, R7000 reset settings when the router is turned off. My firmware is Kong ( 3/28/18 ). When the router starts, the settings are default. Can I fix the problem somehow? I'd rather not change the firmware because it suits me best.

OK??

You don't want to do research

You don't want to take advice

What exactly are you looking for here on this forum?

DD-WRT did not cause your problem

Though if you had read & followed the Peacock Thread part 9. Before playing with Vortex, you'd be in a much better spot right now

I could do advice from jwh7. However, I do not have a TTL cable. I do not know where to start. Should I buy a TTL cable? I just expected help from the Forum. I got it fact.

Google dd-wrt serial recovery. I have a link in there for the type of cable to get that works for sure.

I think it is the same for all modern netgear routers. In my notes there is also a refernece to the R7000.

The most important thing is to never attach the voltage cable. If you switch ohter cables the worst what can happen is that is does not function.
