Hi!
A couple weeks ago I received two Airlive N.Power routers from my teacher. I was a bit disappointed because DD-WRT does not support them.
So of course, I opened them, and I straight up found a UART header!
I connected it to my usb interface at 57600baud and I could see the linux console that was being used! Even execute commands!
I immediately planned to install a secure shell, but I found out it extracts the linux image that's being used on every boot, so it's no use.
My next plan was to make my own DD-WRT version for this router, but I do not have the knowledge to do so.
Is there anyone who would help me? I have seen other posts about this router with no success.
I'm also a bit worried of the maximum 1000mW TX output power on most DD-WRT versions in combination with this router having 2000mW stock |
