I installed the latest version of dd-wrt and am seeing only 130mbps on 2.4Ghz. It seems there is no channel bonding happening.

1. Tried 40 width for 2.4Ghz
2. Tried changing channel Upper and Lower extended channel.
3. Tried Just N only, no luck.
4. Co-exist disabled.
5. Security is WPA2-Personal AES.
6. Turbo QAM enable/disable.
7. Enabled Short Preamble.

Is there any other advanced settings i need to change.

Not sure whats missing.

Don't mix theoretical speeds with real world speeds.

Reading materials: CenturyLink and Lifewire

Unless you happen to reside middle of nowhere with no neighbours, chances of having two adjacent channels empty to use, is next to nil.

If you happen to reside in a condo,
Getting even one channel that is empty would be a miracle.

You can use software such as WiFi Analyzer to see if it really is using two adjacent channels.

If you have checked both firmware with WiFi Analyzer,
Use whichever you prefer.

I confess what Ashishchandra says.
In dlink firmware, I can enable/disable 20/40 coexistence. This option doesn't exist in DR-WRT firmware.
