Hi there, I am struggling to figure out how to modify the hex values for this version of router even though I downloaded the original firmware off the site and read that the hex values should be at the end of the firmware file name but I do not see it. Does anybody have a modified and working version of this firmware?

I would suggest you downgrade the factory firmware first. Then use the factory-to-ddwrt file from here: ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/02-01-2017-r31221/dlink-dir615e1/dir615e1-factory-to-ddwrt-firmware.bin

Then upgrade to the latest version of dd-wrt using the webupgrade file from the same folder, ie here for 37305: ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2018/10-10-2018-r37305/dlink-dir615e1/dir615e1-firmware.bin
I have not tested the latest version yet.

Did you try the Factory-to-ddwrt file from the link in my signature first? What about flashing it from the D-Link Recovery room?

I have tried several firmwares up to this point and cannot get past the page in the attached screenshot. I have also tried the emergency reboot method (pull power while holding reset and waiting for the orange light to flash) and it still does not seem to get past the screen in the attached even when using the firmware in your signature. I have tried firmwares from 2010 as well as the original firmware off the dlink site not sure what else can be done at this point?

BTW some firmwares actually go through the progress meter to 100% but then get stuck at the screen in the attached. This is the dilemma I am facing

Gave Firefox a try on a separate PC all together and still same results. Out of ideas at this point
