Openvpn client and server on the same machine.

Router - LinkSys ACS1900 v2. Firmware used :Latest ( 36698, Dated : 2018-8-22).

Issue: Want to run OpenVPN Client and OpenVPN Server on the same machine ( QNAP NAS ) which is directly connected to the LinkSys DD-WRT router. I have only one router in the setup. If needed I can add one more router (LinkSys 3200 with stock firmware ). Would like some help on this.

I have seen mutiple posts on this. Some of them are using two router setup. Saw some comment from eibgrad on this post.

This seems to closely matching my current situation , but is complicated ( I am running the VPN Client/Servers in a NAS instead of the router ). Is this applicable for my case?
