Hi,
A while back I tried to revert my WRT32X running DD-WRT to factory and soft-bricked it.
Somehow I managed to get it running as a WRT3200ACM which has actually been a better experience, but my end goal is to run DD-WRT now it's a bit more stable.
So, my question is, do I flash DD-WRT as the WRT3200ACM or can I flash the WRT32X version?
I do have a USB to Serial cable should I mess up again, just trying to avoid a whole world of hurt again.

I strongly recommend returning the u-boot environment variables to a stock WRT32X and then flashing stock Venom firmware on one partition and DD-WRT on the alternate.
That’s the way I would do it to avoid any problems now and in the future. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117

That's great! Sorry I missed your last post.
I'm sure this will help others who need to return from a WRT3200 conversion now that DD-WRT is available for the WRT32X. _________________ DD-WRT Installation & Setup TUTORIAL http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311117
