I have the linksys WRT1900AC V1 with the firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r37582 std (11/03/1, i have updated it.
Since a few months i have problem with the wifi of the router. Slow speed wifi ( less than 50 mbps ) and i am losing the connection. I have try many settings and none better. I have trying a reset and a update is same thing. Here my actual settings wifi. My wifi with the modem HH3000 of Bell is work pretty fine. No drop and the speed is 100 mbps at 300 mbps in the speedtest )
Help me please.

1. Reset to factory settings and try the wifi with default settings (dd-wrt and no security).
2. If wifi doesn't work, you may need to try another reset or firmware. If wifi works, then continue by setting your personal SSID without security.
3. If wifi still works, then add WPA2/AES and a password. One thing I have heard before (not sure if it applies to Linksys WRT routers) is to avoid the use of special characters for the SSID and password. Try using just basic keyboard characters (letters and numbers).
3. Save the configuration after each change, and test your wifi again after each change.
If the wifi fails at any point, then you will know what setting messed it up. _________________ WRT3200ACM Gateway, r37837 access restrictions don't work

It has been noted that upgrades are failing due to using original settings. Your suggestion to reset is an excellent choice when upgrading. Also whenever changing any WiFi settings it is a good idea to re-boot as sometimes the new settings don't take effect on "APPLY" alone.
In so far as the WRT1900AC V1 on r37582, I am running this on my active unit without any problems. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+

What happening?
WENED: what speed do you get and is stable?
You mention speed of 50Mbs but not where or how this is determined. Are you referring to Internet speed test, DD-WRT on board speed test, or whatever. It would help if you specify what configuration you are using to determine speed and connectivity. My WiFi speed is average about 400Mbs as calculated by the on board test and that is where my 1900 is connected via WDS 5Ghz about 500 ft downstream from my 3200. I have 6 IP Cameras and four Sonoff temperature monitors on the 1900 along with a WRT1200AC on WDS 5Ghz Virtual. Please give a little more detail _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+

WENED: the speedtest i am talking about is http://www.speedtest.net and bell speedtest. I have my main computer which is connected in Ethernet and I can also connect it in wifi, I have a laptop and a phone and all the same speed. When i do the test only my devices is connected. I am in a appartment 4 and a half so I do not have very big to cover and I test near close.
Like i said in my last post i revert back to stock firmware today and is much better. Why ?

I sincerely apologize if I may have offended you. Your response definitely clarifies your problem. Unfortunately, I can not help as I am on DSL and have a maximum speed of 7Mbs.
I am sure that there are other users out there that will be able to help now knowing some specifics of your problem. _________________ Starlink & DSL -> TPLink TL-R470T+
