WAP & ovpn server.
USB FAT32 samba share
All working very good.

Good news if you have this build installed on the 160NL you can now install other builds via the webif.
Bad news, this along with many others will NOT install on a WRT160NL that has Oops: flash id 0xc22017
This unit has Oops: flash id 0x1c2017
Only oddity with r36645 on this unit is USB mount point is a bit different. See pics ¬

TP-Link TL-WR841ND v8
DD-WRT v3.0-r36645 std 08/19/18 updated from DD-WRT v3.0-r35874 std (05/04/18 )
I have issues with this build
1.when you disconnecting PPPoE WAN connection from status-> WAN->
disconnecting the WAN IP in the GUI doesn't reset to 0.0.0.0 and keep the
last IP.
2.you can't reconnect to PPPoE because of the GUI button
doesn't change to connect and the Connection Uptime keeps
counting, to get the connection back you have to reboot.
3.PPPoE connection disconnecting and reconnect after a certain time.
4.UPnP ports keep deleting even if you disable clear port
forwards at startup.
5.If you set up a multiple static DNS let say for example 8.8.8.8 and
1.1.1.1 after a certain time one of these DNS stop working until you
reboot your router
sorry for my bad English and my lack of experience I hope you fix these issues.

Netgear R9000 X10- Same Crap- Broken webgui upgrade- stuck at 1%. Something broke after 36330; that was the last version for the R9000 to flash over for me via bin update to 36410. Nothing since 36410 has web flashed for me....
I'm using the multicast fix...I think hostapd is somehow interfering with the webgui update...The code can't be removed from the hostapd "custom config" box....that's just a wild ass guess though....

Looks like TFTP time, again...
Updated 4 wired R9000's via Web GUI from local gamer PC, all with multicast fix from 36410 to 36527 to 36596 to 36645 via Chrome.
USB SSD, YAMon3, Samba, APs with DHCP forwarders, no QOS or VPN. All on a Cisco Gb network.
No problems noted. _________________ Segment 1 XR700 10Gb LAN, 1Gb WAN ISP BS

Well, here's a wierdo...Chrome, shows the uploading status and gets stuck at 1%. Just on a whim I tried IE 11.0.9600.18978 and the newest bin worked just fine, WTF?! Chrome x64 68.0.3440.106
Which version of the router do you have? As I understand it, there is a V1 and V2, V2 had bluetooth removed.
FCC ID: PY317400405 is V2
FCC ID: PY316200339 is V1
Mine is a V1.
I have the LED switch turned off, can't see how that would change anything.
Same version Chrome and at least 2 are V1. Gremlins.. _________________ Segment 1 XR700 10Gb LAN, 1Gb WAN ISP BS
