they do, or did.. dont know if current. but from what i saw from it, bs sees kong like he sees us, a user, seems to not care or believe what kong has to say or commit, as he usually reverts or reworks it to his liking (which usually doesnt fix the problem)..

I have two E2100L and three WRT160NL units but only the one 160NL has Oops: flash id 0x1c2017

Any wiseguys try looking for Oops: flash ID you prolly aint gonna get anything.
I've only seen it on the two routers mentioned.
I had a ticket opened about it once but guess BS never got around to looking into it.

I used to have the same problems with my WRT160NL and I have give up updating long ago. My ticket was never solved (#5959). So, I am still using the version 33555 which seem rock solid. Up time 85 days.

I've been messing with these routers for years and I still use r27506 on E2100L routers for long distance WDS that ties two LANs together.....
...only build that is WDS wireless stable with them Smile

Modello Router Netgear R7000
Versione Firmware DD-WRT v3.0-r36410 std ( 07/28/18 )
Versione Kernel Linux 4.4.144 #3591 SMP Thu Jul 26 13:46:00 CEST 2018 armv7l

Status: Ok
Reset: yes (reload chk)
Errors: problem: 2.4 and 5.0mhz WiFi are always on. Even setting the closing option in the menu does not change. Pressing the external keys sometimes closes the 2.4 or 5.0 but not both. Even setting the power on / off key wifi with wifi closed at startup remains lit. Sad

Updating: at the moment I have the problem in reverse: the wifi does not work. If I try to activate it with the keys the relative LEDs light up but the WiFi is not activated in 2.4 or 5.0 mhz Sad

Router Name TP-WA901ND
Router-Modell TP-Link TL-WA901ND v3
Firmware-Version DD-WRT v3.0-r36410 std (07/28/18)
Kernel Version Linux 3.18.116 #18739 Sat Jul 28 04:06:58 CEST 2018 mips

Upgrade from Build 36330 was not possible via web interface, so I had to use the command line.

So far, everything seems to run fine after the upgrade to build 36410.

Kind regards,

This is my backup main router....just swapped it in. Nothing wrong with EA8500 but wanted to see if this old goat still worked ...
...configured exactly same as the EA8500.
Static leases
Local DNS
Recursive DNS Resolving
VLAN
ovpn server
USB Ext2 samba share
Wireless ok + guests on both radios
QOS HFSC FQ_Codel
NAT loopback on FTP(21) to local server works fine on this unit.
Everything workin great Smile
But NO local DNS connected to ovpn server while running unbound.... tis a problem with this build.

Router: TP-Link Archer C7 v2
Firmware version: DD-WRT v3.0-r36410 std ( 07/28/18 )
Kernel version: Linux 3.18.116 #18757 Sat Jul 28 04:26:12 CEST 2018 mips
Upgraded via: WebGUI

Status: Bad
Reset: 2 x 30-30-30

Upgrading from:

Firmare versión: DD-WRT v3.0-r35927 std ( 05/13/18 )
Kernel version: Linux 3.18.108 #14215 Sun May 13 04:07:07 CEST 2018 mips

---------------------------

Problem with build r36410:

The same problem in all versions from the build r35927.

DHCP server seems to stop working after some minutes and the connection in the browser stops. Seems a problem related with DNS servers, the browser is not able to do the DNS queries. I remain connected to the network, but I have no data.

If I switch off the WiFi connection from Windows and reconnect back, the connection works ok for some more minutes, but the problem it happens again.

The problem seems to only occur in the 5 GHz network.

Returning again to r35927.

---------------------------

Am I losing something about my problem?

Is this problem really still present after nine builds?

Seems like the multicast bug... Try this in the Wireless>Security- Custom Config box of the 5ghz radio:
"multicast_to_unicast=1" (w/o quotes)
