Advice for TP-link c7 v4

Hi,

I am currently using build 34411 on a v4 Archer c7 and since I've installed a Ring Doorbell camera I've been getting intermittent delays and video drop outs. I have had ring log into the doorbell and it is working as expected, however the performance on my local network is erratic. I wonder if it could be anything to do with the router? Can anyone recommend a version of router firmware I can try even if its to eliminate the router. It needs to be stable, work on both 2.4and 5ghz bands and openvpn to work.
