Installed r36168-2018.June.20 on my WRT1900ACS_v1 as flash upgrade keeping my configs without issues, seems to be running fine so far - will report any issues found. Twenty four of my wireless devices reconnected right away and seem to be working (several will jump to stronger APs soon).
DD-WRT config reference for my WRT1900ACS_v1: wired devices ~75, wireless ~20 clients using 5GHz-80Mhz-AC-Only & 2.4GHz-20Mhz-NG-Mixed with 2 additional APs in house (D-Link DAP-1650 - same SSID/Config, non-overlapping channels), IPv6 on, DHCP reservations for all known devices, local Raspberry Pi NTP, access rules (internet block security cameras), port forwards, no QOS, running OpenVPN server, firewall rules (OpenVPN & Guest), Guest 2.4GHz Wi-Fi segmented network/DHCP

@slimbrick87 This happens from time to time on some builds with either WLAN, but mostly the 5GHz.
I've found that just making a change in the settings of the affected band (channel, width, etc...) will usually bring it back without having to reboot.
I've tried changing the settings of the affected band, which is always the 5 GHz band, and then I immediately lose both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. So for me, the only way I've found to get both wireless bands back is to reboot the router. Admittedly, it's frustrating. _________________ FIRMWARE: 6-20-2018 - r36168

Anyone else having high CPU usage (0.60 to 0.80) with nothing going on?
It is happening on both of my version 1 devices, 1200, 1900, and the 3200 as well.
The 1200 and 1900 are APs.
I did a top and httpd is using up to .5 even without being logged into the GUI.
*EDIT - Nevermind it went away after a few hours...
Up for 42 hours now, and the wireless speeds on the WRT1900ACv1 have not dropped off, as they did in the previous release I ran for 56 days (Yeah, an old one, but it didn't reboot for me anyway.) _________________ Tutorial for flashing WRT series WRT Installation,Upgrade & Basic Setup–Cliff Notes

The last few builds my wireless devices haven't been able to see each other, thus no printing from wireless devices to my wireless printer. Any fix?
WRT3200ACM
Interesting. I had this issue with a Netgear R7000 way back when it was first released, using stock Netgear firmware. I eventually went to the Linksys WRT and then to DD-WRT to fix it because Netgear couldn't figure it out. _________________ Routing:.......Asus RT-AX88U (Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14) Switching:....Netgear GS608_V3 & GS605_V4, TrendNet TEG-S82G & TEG-S50G
Very interested in hearing how the WRT1900AC v1 is doing on this build.
Thanks!
Me too. I really want to upgrade considering r31924 is 13 months old. I just don't want issues since I don't have any at all now. _________________ Routing:.......Asus RT-AX88U (Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14) Switching:....Netgear GS608_V3 & GS605_V4, TrendNet TEG-S82G & TEG-S50G

Installed r-36168 on two WRT1900AC V1's a couple of days ago along with the same upgrade on a WRT3200acm. Both 1900's are remote WDS AP's which link numerous cameras and home entertainment systems. The system has been stable since upgrade and the only problem I am seeing is with the 3200 where it still cannot communicate with esp8266 devices, which thanks to another post I have switched to using ATH2 which doesn't seem to care about the devices and works flawlessly. The 1900's don't have a problem with the esp8266 devices.

That's just thing - I'm not up for it. I work out of my home. I can't afford service interruptions, even short ones. I need to be reasonably sure it's stable before I try it. It does seem the reboot issues are solved but the wireless/wired dropouts now seem to be an issue.

If you're up for it - upgrade. We can use all the testers we can get.
I'm reasonably certain that the reboot issue has been solved with the CPU Idle being disabled, but I don't wanna to call it just yet.
I updated my WRT1900AC v1 from r31924 to r36168 almost 20 hours ago, with no problems.
No reset, retained all settings.
I have OpenVPN but no DHCP set up - all static.
So far so good, but it's early days. _________________ ------------------------------------

Getting log spammed by:
"httpd Request Error Code 408: No request appeared within a reasonable time period."
whenever I am logged into the GUI on all 3 WRT's I have.
EDIT - I think this may be a known issue, can't remember. Yes, the CPU usage goes up when logged into the GUI as the syslog errors start spamming
The speed on all 3 are acceptable, only using 5Ghz on the WRT1900ACv1, WRT1200AC, and only using 5Ghz on DFS channels on the 3200ACM which is screaming fast compared to the release I was using (r35531).
Set the syslog level to debug, just to see if anything is messing up LOL. _________________ Tutorial for flashing WRT series WRT Installation,Upgrade & Basic Setup–Cliff Notes

Just installed this build on my 1900AC V1, uptime a whole 8 minutes since installing . Did not reset settings, all seems happy. Was disconcerted at first by the fan on high for about 20 seconds, but it soon slowed down.
Am not seeing syslog spamming as mentioned above; I do note there's a 404 error when the GUI is opened: Request Error Code 404: File favicon.ico not found. It might depend on your browser.
Just to update:
My WRT1900AC v1 is running fine on r36168 for 2 days 6 hours so far.
One thing of note: temperature is a consistent 7-8C less than with r31924. _________________ ------------------------------------

Updated from r31924 to r36168. Entire LAN switch was dead, wireless and WAN port were fine. All wireless clients could access the internet but could not even get a link light on ports 1-4. Rebooted a couple of times and finally got it to work but now I can't access the web admin. I've got big problems right now. _________________ Routing:.......Asus RT-AX88U (Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14) Switching:....Netgear GS608_V3 & GS605_V4, TrendNet TEG-S82G & TEG-S50G
Yep, it's a bust for me. I downgraded to r31924 and tried the update again. As soon as I go to r36168, the switch dies. _________________ Routing:.......Asus RT-AX88U (Asuswrt-Merlin 384.14) Switching:....Netgear GS608_V3 & GS605_V4, TrendNet TEG-S82G & TEG-S50G
