Once again, upgrade via web interface is broken. I had to upgrade from 36104 via SSH/command line.
So far, the device seems to work as usual:
- WLAN speeds OK (but maximum speed seems to be 144M despite TP-Link product info and also DD-WRT status page say "300M" - and yes, I have enabled HT 40 MHz wide channels, Mode: N only)

You may have already done it but try flashing the img via dd-wrt I think it may allow so...
I might afterlater but will have serial handy.
None of BS older factory-to-ddwrt.img for EA8500 would work.
Always had to use Kong build for first install.
And it shows at least 4MB larger that any previous builds.
I feel certain it would break the router as the older factory-to-ddwrt.img would do.

Status:It runs but has problems

Errors: No internet access on 5GHz with ios device with build 36006 and onwards.
GUI feels slower than the previous builds.
Had to revert to build r35927 for 5GHz connectivity.
