Currently US country setting limits ch 36->48 max at 23 dBM. Is there a way to set tx power over the limit via command? I need it to be at least 25 dBM, and 149->161 is way too crowded in my apartment complex.

well it depends from the power amp in the router but if you change country domain to Canada or Haiti you may squeeze a bit more TX power...do keep in mind the Wi-Fi itself is locked down to 30 Mwt max but not all routers are capable to deliver that power only the more expensive once

Be aware that even if you succeed to increase the TX power, the signal from the client will not be stronger.
