Could a v5 build work on a v6 device for TP-WR740N?

I'm a newbie who owns a TP-WR740N v6 but I went to download the firmware for v5 below and tried to install the firmware.

I got the Error code: 18005
Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. Please check the file name.

Is this due to the mismatch version number? Anyway i can overcome this issue cos I can't find a v6 build for my router.

TP-WR740N is unknown to wikidevi

Don't presume a V5 and V6 is equal. It can be different router with different chip-sets.

Most likely the fw will not load because board id differs.
