This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 29440_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build. _________________ Routers:Netgear R7000, R6400v1, R6400v2, EA6900 (XvortexCFE), E2000, E1200v1, WRT54GS v1.

errors: HTTPS interface is *really* slow to connect. It's consistently stuck at the "establishing secure connecton" message in chromium for a solid 30 seconds.
Subsequent GUI page browsing takes 10-15 sec. If I ssh into the router and watch `top` as I try to browse, the CPU usage is >50% for `httpd -S` while pages try to load.
When I just idle in my browser on a GUI page, `httpd -S` is taking 17-30% of the CPU.
I tried both chromium and firefox both with new profiles. It doesn't matter if I connect from my laptop or another machine on my network. Bug is consistent. Is there a log for httpd I can post to help troubleshoot?

I flashed to 36000 then reset to factory defaults but even those settings give the web ui lag :/
Does DD-WRT have the command "top"?
Use it to find out what process is sucking all CPU mojo?
I did, see above, quote to avoid scrolling:

What version of dnscrypt does this come with? I'm on build from Feb 18 and it has v1.9.5 which is deprecated, I see that dnscrypt 2 got overhauled and its syntax changed and config files are using some sort of dns stamps and sdns:// URLs. With v1 I'm spawning dnscrypt daemons like this:
Code:
dnscrypt-proxy -S -a 127.0.0.1:30 -R cs-ussouth -L /opt/dnscrypt-resolvers.csv -d
I would like to upgrade to v2 and use cloudflare servers: "server_names = ['cloudflare', 'cloudflare-ipv6']". With v1 at the moment I'm running ['cs-ussouth2', 'cs-usnorth', 'cs-useast', 'cs-ussouth'] but they are so unreliable and many times simple DNS queries like www.geforce.com and *.playstation.com do not get resolved rendering my consoles unusable or desktop PC unable to download nvidia driver.
I wasn't also sure about cloudflare's 1.1.1.1, does it support DNSCrypt protocol or DoH (DNS over HTTPS)?
