Here's a hacked version of the yamon 3.4.x install script. It uses https instead of http and then automatically edits the newly downloaded getlatest.sh to also use https instead of http (an automated version of what was described in the previous post).

Lately YAMon 3.4.6 would not load and the web page showing "connecting to www.gstatic.com" and never connecting and the YAMon not loading.
I installed the "hacked" install of YAMon 3.4.7 and has the same issue. Any body else having the same problem?

Thank you for this. I've been trying to install the version from the site since yesterday and I kept getting the newline error.
In order to keep my data and logs safe from a wipe of my /opt/YAMon3 folder I moved them outside of that folder to the root of /opt and changed their pointers in config.file.
To make the transition to a new year seamless I prepared a new folder in my /opt/data named for the coming year ie /opt/data/2022 and prefilled it with 12 folders named for the months 01 thru 12. Yamon is happy to have the folders already made and has no issue with the transitions.
Happy New Year. _________________ Segment 1 XR700 10Gb LAN, 1Gb WAN ISP BS

Yamon3 would not load in the New Year. Checked the data folder and sure enough no 2022 folder. I shutdown YAMon3; I created the 2022 folder along with the numbered Months as you suggested; then ran the startup.sh and the web page loads up.

What is your ISP bill roll-over date? If you haven't reached it yet (eg. 15th) the the hourly data for the first 14 days of 2022 would normally fall under december 2021. I don't have a 2022 folder yet and my yamon (HTML: 3.4.5 / Script: 3.4.7) is running fine.
I've seen cases where yamon shutdown/restart fixes it unrelated to year rollover.

Why does yamon need anything from the internet to run? _________________ Google is Spyware

Thanks. Tried everything to get this installed for the 1st time -- no luck. Fixed the newline problem only to get another. Lots of good ideas, but I'm either too dense or they don't work in all environments. P9000-r47976.

The best thing I did with YAMon was to install it on a 250gb Sandisk Type C SSD with 2 partitions on it named opt and jffs.
They auto mount as /opt and /jffs.
Haven't had a USB problem since mounting it. _________________ Segment 1 XR700 10Gb LAN, 1Gb WAN ISP BS
