Just the above request really. Can I do this with DD-WRT, and on which hardware? Thanks in advance.

I will need a way to save the password and never be reprompted for it, despite the server attempting to forbid this. Minor nuisance to type it each time using the official Cisco client on a laptop, but not really workable on a router.

If I can have automatic reconnection if the VPN ever drops, and a way to split tunnel just some of the devices I connect to the router, even sweeter. The main reason I'm searching is I want to use an Nvidia Shield TV box on the basis that it thinks it's in another country, and seamlessly gives me that country's content.

If there's a budget/reliability tradeoff, I'd rather go for something that works well.

I already have access to the VPN, btw. It requires username, password, group and shared secret (which I know), but AFAIK no certificate (at least, I've never been prompted to supply or choose one). I don't control the VPN concentrator and can't do anything to configure it, but I have confirmation that sessions have no fixed expiry time or bandwidth limit.
