If the Wifi does not work you may need to send your WIFI device info to the Dev's to implement a driver for your wifi adapter. I am not sure if the WIFI works in trial mode. To find out the info on your WIFI USB ADAPTER you need To do this. Install Telnet in windows. Then open telnet. Type in this.

open 192.168.1.1 press enter
User name is root
Password is whatever you set it as. It will not show you typing it in just blindly type it in and press enter.

Then when your at the prompt put this code in.

lspci -v

That is LSPCI Not an upper cased i but caps do matter otherwise it will not know the command.

Then copy and paste everything it spits out and post it here. I will contact Brainslayer to see what he says.

OH and if you have a Dual or Quadcore CPU with more than 2GB ram use the X64 version it supports multicore CPU and more than 3GB ram. Also there was a bug which I got resolved with ARP Spoofing protection that was coded wrong which crashed the system. Use these files here.

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/test/x86_64/ These were made today.

Ok the 3/5/2018 firmware is the bad one with the bug that can cause dd-wrt to crash when a device tries to connect to the network.
The link I gave you is newer with the bug fixed.
ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/others/test/ You can see the date here and release version number is higher.

Ok it sees the wifi device but there is no driver loaded for it. I will let the Brainslayer know about this question.

you need to use a supported chipset. only ath5k, ath9k and ath10k chipsets are supported. so atheros / qca based chipsets since they offer the features required for long range links etc. broadcom is consumer grade and is missing important features.

you have a broadcom chipset card from asus. this is unsupported. you must use qca / atheros cards. any card which is supported by ath5k, ath9k or ath10k, is supported.

depends on the slot type you use. most cards are comming with minipci-e slots, so for a standard pc you need a pcie to minipcie adapter card. good current AC cards are with qca 9984 and qca 988x chipsets.

Ok that one may not be in there since its a NFA344 chip.

I think he recommended this one here. Since its a QCA chip.

With this adapter.

This is to put the card into this adapter which will plug into your computer's PCI-E Slot. The 3rd antenna will be useless.

I do not know 100% if this one is supported. Because what good would the Bluetooth connection be useful for on a router system? I do not know what Wigig is. Maybe wireless AD 1300Mbps. I do not have anything better than Wireless N. I have not even ran into a device that supported AC speeds yet.

Maybe BS can confirm if that one is supported.
