Currently not supported. Because of the Mediatek chipset, may never be supported. Will most likely require a hardware donation for support.

How/Where should I send it?

I am from Argentina. I prefer to donate money to buy it locally than to make an international shipment.

Hi,

As a follow-up on this thread I went through, has DD-WRT been tuned to TP-link TL-MR3020 v3.0 (current version is 3.2) ? could this be done since the last post ? I'm also ready to make a donation for it as it's a nice piece of equipment and so tiny.

Thanks

Guillaume

You can donate a similar equipment (most of the cases shipped to Germany), or money. For details, follow the procedure Ian referred:

If you aren't donating hardware, you have to do the router detection:

Any updates on support for 3.x Very Happy

OpenWRT seems to have support for v3.0 but not v3.20 https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-mr3020_v3

There was never any confirmation that a router was donated AFAIK. I just contacted the developer to see if the router was ever received.

Thank you for following up. Appreciate it.

Hope to see this in the official supported list sometime.

I, personally, unfortunately, cannot donate hardware or funds Sad

Will keep my fingers crossed

If anyone stumbles on this thread, frustrated, like I was.

Try this
https://ofmodemsandmen.com/firmware.html
It's called ROOter Firmware, based on OpenWrt, with all the customization done.

OpenWrt for v3.x worked, however, was frustrating to get things up and running.

Still hopeful DDWrt will support 3.x in the future.

I never got a reply from the developer that a device was donated / received.
