Hi everyone. I just purchased a Netgear AC5300 mostly to try and get American Netflix up here in Canada. My intention is to use a vpn (NordVPN) to do this.

So my question on the process of how to do this is;

I have to install DD-WRT onto the AC5300 and once this is done, I should be able to install NordVPN?

Your help and suggestions are appreciated. hk

Peruse these as a start (I've never used NordVPN):

I can't speak for Netflix, but both Amazon and MLB TV block North American VPN servers.

Before you go through the hassle of setting up NordVPN in DD-WRT, it'd be worth downloading the NordVPN client onto a PC for a 3-day trial to see if Netflix would work at all over VPN.

Don't VPN's have a tendency to slow down speeds and/or cause studding issues?
