I just flashed my brand new Netgear Nighthawk 6700v3 with dd-wrt.K3_6700V3.chk. It all seemed to go well. I configured the router as a client bridge and got everything connected. On initial reboot, everything works as designed. I can ping all devices and reach the internet. Then things slowly start to deteriorate. I will be able to ping the router but the gui fails. Then the internet through the router gets slow. And finally, I will no longer be able to ping the device. Telnet fails as well. Internet will continue to work but slowly. Once I reset the router the cycle starts all over again. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help!

Ok, which build number version of DD-WRT? Looks like you maybe flashed a Kong build? Kinda lost over here. Also, CB and RB (and even Repeater) may not even work on ARM devices. I know Client mode does without a doubt on my R7000P running 40270M kongac.

DON'T use Chromium-based browsersRTFM/STFW - TL;DR is NOT an excuse. • Why Should I Care What Color the Bikeshed Is?

Thank you for the response! I flashed it with build DD-WRT v3.0-r39960M kongac (06/08/19)

It is the Kong version. Think I should try another build?

Thanks again!

You can try 40270M : http://ddwrt-kong.clonevince.fr/40270/

I'm just not sure which .bin file you can use to upgrade: http://ddwrt-kong.clonevince.fr/Supported%20Models

So, you may have to use the trailed .chk file again. Lots of information lost when Kong left, but I know there is an install guide thread somewhere in the forum that may shed some light on this.

The R6700v3 is the same (apart from the antenna's) as the R6400v2.

See my signature at the bottom of this post for an install guide.

^^^^^ There we go. Sorry, I didn't think to pull up your profile and copy and paste the link, egc Wink

Also, FWIW, BS 42132 posted today, so if you felt up to migrating, there is that option as well. My R7000P is used semi-infrequently for my PC workbench these days, so it still has 40270M which works well for my purposes.

No problem I have got your back Smile

Yeah 40270 is a trusted old build, still running at one of my neighbours, I myself have migrated everything to BS builds
