Hello
I use a Asus RT-N18U router with Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33607 std (10/25/17)
My problem is i get very low lan speed.
If i use direct connection via cable i get a maximum of 11 Mbytes/s ,with the router i get just 1Mbyte/s
The router is taking away 10Mbytes/s witch is a huge bottleneck.
Before this i had an old TP-Link router with an old firmware from dd-wrt everything was fine.
If i go under Setup - Networking tab i see by default :
TX Queue Length = 1000.
This is a better improved router than the one i had,so i think the bottleneck are the settings inside the firmware.
Any suggestions how to remove the lan speed cap would be much appreciated .
P.S. my internet speed is just fine, the problem is with my lan speed.

I would suggest doing a reset via the webGUI, Admin tab, then Factory Defaults. Enable, click apply. Don't upload a back-up file, that defeats the purpose. _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.

TP-Link Archer C7 v2 x2 - WDS Station
TP-Link TL-WDR3600 v1 - WDS Station
TP-Link 841nd v8 - NU
D-Link 615 C1/E3/I1 x 7 - 1 WDS station
D-Link 825 B1 - NU
D-Link 862L A1 x2 - WDS Station
Netgear WNDR3700v2 - NU
UBNT loco M2 x2 - airOS
Broadcom
Linksys EA6400 - Gateway, QoS
Asus N66U - AP
Netgear WNDR3700v3 - not used
MediaTek
UBNT EdgeRouter X - switch
I would suggest using it. It will not solve the slow speed though.
Upgrade to a newer build first. 34311 works fine on all of my routers. See the link in my signature for download links. _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.
