Hi there,

Been a few years since I have been to this site.

I am trying to setup my router with a vpn service. Their instructions mention a kong build for dd wrt. I am on v 24 sp2 as I have been for a few years, I tried matching the open vpn settings as their instructions but that doesnt seem to work .

When I check the site here it suggests the version of ddwrt that I am currently running.

Not sure what I should do to get this vpn working.

Welcome back Smile Where did you check that suggestion? I hope the Wiki (for 14929), and not the Router Database (which should not be used esp. since its' Supported Build 14896 is a bad build).

Regardless, that model can run any k2.4 build (broadcom folder) except micro (cuz it's an N router); Kong doesn't support them either. A new build -just- came out, but wait for reports on k2.4 builds in the New Build thread. They are reported working for 34311 though (also has krack fix):
ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/12-29-2017-r34311/broadcom/

Note: you don't need the trailed build (_wrt350n.bin). Use _vpn_generic.bin or mega_generic.bin. mrjcd has used vpn with recent k2.4 routers.
