Hi,

Interested in if anyone has any suggestions on how to address a problem I'm having.

I have a Netcomm R7000 and I'm trying to set it up as a repeater bridge, to a Netcomm Cable modem.

I can get the bridge to sort of work, but get lots of packet loss approx 40%, might get 30 pings with no errors then a set of 20 pings that fail. no real pattern to the packet loss.

Interestingly if I ping the GW at the same time, there is Zero packet loss. So it's only when I try to ping out to the internet. If I ping the internet from the GW no problems.

Setup is 2.4Ghz Repeater Bridge, using same subnet, IP assigned by GW. 5Ghz radio disabled.

Things i've tried
- All sorts of setup options following different guides to set up.
- Different wireless options N-only, mixed, NG mixed, A B etc
- Different dd-wrt versions, from 2014, all the way to the latest Nov Kong build
- Played with using different channels, transmit power etc

None of this makes ANY difference, exactly the same behaviour.

any ideas of other things to try??

thanks

Do you mean Netgear R7000?

It's a Broadcom device. I suggest you post in the Broadcom Forum.
